Matthias Anton (saxophone) and Philip Moehrke(piano) present on their new CD "Memories" in technical perfection intertwined flowing compositions retrospecting at 10 years of musical and human friendship. Both, classical music enthusiasts as well as jazz lovers come here at their expense. The two musicians find a symbiosis from pop, klassik and jazz and offer in their chamber music high arrangements concise atmospheric themes which like game balls in musical dialogue absorbed and developed. The basic mood des Vortrags is characterized by a dreamy tranquility which through artistically differentiated dynamism and by energetic suspense curve arches emotionally deeply. On classical chord setings they juggle in free improvisation motives partly lively and breathtaking quickly, reset but simultaneously in sensitive, balanced, acoustic interplay a sign against the hectic of time.
